Fitzrovia is the name given to the small area of central London that stretches from Oxford Street in the south to Euston Road in the north and from Great Portland Street in the west and Gower Street in the east.

Now, increasingly popular with New Media companies, the area is now a second home after Soho Square to many advertising agencies, T.V. and Internet companies.

The area also contains one of the most famous London landmarks, the BT Tower. Formerly known as the Post Office Tower, this commanding fixture on the London skyline used to be open to the public and with a restaurant situated at the top, it provided some of the most spectacular views available of the city. Standing at a total height of 620 ft., the BT Ttower is easily one of the tallest builings in London and at the time of construction, it was one of the tallest in Europe.
