It’s not lost on us that (almost) everyone can call themselves an award winner of sorts in today’s business world. However, we are particularly delighted to be the proud winners of the Gold Award for Best Central London Independent Estate Agent 2019, at an award ceremony held ahead of time, in October 2018, hosted by The Property Academy and Rightmove – an event attended by thousands of residential estate agents nationwide.
The approach to nominee selection is why The EA Masters Awards stand out above others. You cannot apply for a nomination, and the hosts have purposely steered away from handing out awards with manipulating results.
Instead, nominees are based on an independent rating methodology by assessing over 25,000 agencies and recognising differences in service standards and customer service performance through data analysis and mystery shopping. Their organisations aim is to help buyers, sellers, landlords and renters choose their agents wisely, through constructing a thorough database of exceptional estate agency businesses / branches – the Best Estate Agent Guide.
We find winning gold particularly poignant, not only in a testing period of political uncertainty, but also in an industry surrounded by refreshing innovation, alongside a few trialling online practices that have, on occasion, given the industry a bad name.
To be recognised for our hard work in sales, shortly after Laurence winning the Outstanding Contribution Award at the LonRes Awards 2018, leaves us feeling adulated and, for us, emphasises the importance of having a strong brand presence alongside our unique style whilst successfully incorporating modern marketing trends such as a strong social media presence and funky videos, that continues to be recognised by our customers, clients and industry peers, and which some consider innovating, showing how “behind the times” our industry can sometimes seem.
Alongside being awarded for our exceptional work in Residential Sales, our lettings team were also highly rated, the equivalent of a bronze medal, which we are also incredibly proud of, but challenging ourselves to “go for gold” for next year’s awards. Nonetheless, both awards will sit comfortably next to our Silver Award in The Times & The Sunday Times – Letting Agency of the Year Awards from 2015.
We’re incredibly proud of our staff for their continued hard work and success, not only in bringing home the medals and continuing our success story as award winning estate agents, but also bringing home new owners and tenants to the West End.
