Batu Law was established in 2013 by Dr Murat Balci in Istanbul providing a rounded legal service covering criminal law, corporate law, intellectual property, real estate as well as advising start-ups. Their services are not limited to organisations within Turkey, advising clients based in the UK, Austria and Germany. In fact, their German branch will open Summer 2018, followed by Austria later in the year.
With global business continually building, Batu has made the decision to open a second office in Covent Garden, to cater European clients, considering London to be the global commercial and industrial centre!
Over a number of years, we have seen an increase in Turkish based companies setting up in the UK’s capital, with Turkey’s textile industry at the core of those branching into the UK market.
This has umbrellaed with time with specialist international consultancy businesses like Batu expanding into to cater their international clients’ needs. From feedback from our Turkish clients and contacts, the West End is considered key with its vibrant creative community which continues to appeal, especially to the fashion industries as a whole.
Moreover, Covent Garden sits suitably, being easily accessible to the Turkish British Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TBCCI), located in Momument – a straight line through Fleet Street. LDG are delighted to have worked with an established international business like Batu and we wish them all the success in London as well as Germany and Austria.
